je trouve que c'est un bon exemple du syndrome "chasing the hands" of the opponent
comme le dirait Wong Shun Leung Sifu:

It is only if your attack meets with an obstruction that you have to change to attain your goal and this is where "sticking hands" comes into play, as a means to an end, with the end being the winning of the fight."
Je pense qu'ils ont oublié un peu ce concept. Je trouve ça plutôt bien d'aller au contact de temps en temps, mais je pense que leurs pratiques seraient vraiment bcp plus efficace si ils pensaient un peu plus à ça.
